Oh yes, weigh in…

So, I started off at 15st, which is theoretically 14st 14lbs.

We’re now a week and a half in, so my target weight would be 14st 11lbs in order to reach my goal on time, assuming uniform weight loss.

My actual weight? 14st 8lbs.

I am kicking arse.

Has your being dead affected your eating?

My friend had a killer illness for a week last month, couldn’t eat, lost a stone.

Your weight will fluctuate 2-3 lbs in any given day depending upon your daily routine. Assuming you have a “routine” then weighing yourself at the same time every day will help to more accurately identify actual weight loss over daily fluctuation.

So you could be 14 St 11 lbs or 14 St 5 lbs.

If the latter – thats not healthy weight loss in a week and a half. 3 lbs per week is a reasonable average.

Do you have a target weight? If so assume 3lbs per week and calculate the time rather than trying to drop to the target weight as fast as possible.

I did two weigh ins yesterday to test the daily fluctuation theory – one in the morning and one in the evening. The difference was a startling 4.4 lbs on very accurate scales!!
